Picture Transfer Companion App Reviews
Sad thing when you not only have to search for ways to transfer usual files beetween devices, but even worse, ones you find a special application marked as «Free» and download it both to Mac and iOS, then it asks you to buy a Pro version that really transfers photos and not just installs or opens itself. o_O Please, guys, let know earlier, don’t kill people’s life time.
After searching online to find a way to upload my photos to my computer without syncing with a cable and syncing your apps and music just to get photos out of your phone. This app is the BEST & EASIEST way to get your photos into your computer and with no wires and its a matter of clicking multiple photos and click import/export. Im a average user ,but techie at heart. I emailed delitestudios and they replied right away about specifics about the app. So they have GREAT support and response time. I will keep looking at this company for other apps and files transfer apps. Great job guys and much success !!
I had my iPhone hooked up to my Mac to transfer my pics from the phone to the computer. The app never picked up or sync with my phone. Details on the app did not specify if an additional app needed to be downloaded, so I basically waited for something to happen...and nothing did.
And it was free. Thats novel today. Once I set it up (simple) and put Picture Transfer on my iPhone 5s it transferred photos rapiidly to my desktop Mac. They both must be on the same network and running at the same time. Apple should include a program like this with there products. You can transfer photos via messaging or eMail, but this program is more straight forward and, I think, easier. This makes me want to use my iPhone more for photos. Version 1.2
simple fast
and don’t have to mess with the silly photo files. pay 1.99 to be able to transfer many pictures at a time. yes , should be part of OS X
This little app does a nice job once you figure out how to export from your mobile to your computer. I wasted about 10 minute trying to figure this out, from my iPad Air 2 to my iMac, because NO instructions are provided in the app, and NO instructions are on the Delete Studio website. In the website FAQ, the answer to the question “Can I export photos from my device to my computer?” is “Yes, just download the free Pic Transfer Companion to your iMac.” Okay fine, but then HOW do you actually export them? I could only see “IMPORT” on my iPad, and I wanted to export, not import. After getting very frustrated, I came here to leave a negative review, but in reading existing reviews, saw one that said, “Just tap the photos you want to export, then hit Export.” OK!!! But why can’t Delite Studio just SAY THAT? I tried it, and sure enough, as soon as I tapped a photo, the word Import changed to Export. Maybe I’m showing my age and a younger person would have known this immediately (and I do not have a smartphone), but I will never understand why some apps do not provide even the most basic “how to.” I would have given this five stars if it had only said somewhere that I needed to select/tap the photos first, then I would get the Export feature. FYI, the free version lets you export one photo at a time. Pay the $1.99 so you can export them all at once.
